Despite the wonders of modern medicine, bringing someone back from near death is an expensive business. That's why the Cryosphere has an Insurance office.

At the office (located next to the station hospital), you can purchase a day's or a week's (real time) cover, and this will cover all revival fees for the next twenty-four hours or seven days, respectively. Also, it will compensate you for any items you have purchased and cash you are carrying, less a handling fee. Items for which you do not appear to be the owner will not be covered.

The price that is charged will vary depending upon your situation. You can see how much time you have remaining on your insurance cover by looking at the output of score.

Deaths in simulators are not covered by insurance, but then it isn't like you actually lose anything but the cost of the simulation anyway!
