recap <channel>
recap tell

Shows up to 10 recent messages on a channel you can use, or shows the most recent tells you've received.

example:
>recap gossip
The last 2 messages on channel ‘gossip’:
* [gossip] Twiglet nods excitedly.
* [gossip] Twiglet exclaims to Gareth ‘I hear you overinflated Orange's donkey!’
