timezone

Show your current timezone.

timezone <tz>

Sets your timezone. Will accept major capitals and US timezone names, for example, 'Berlin', 'Paris', or 'US/Eastern'. If it finds an ambiguity it will tell you the options. If you can't find your times you may need to look at the lists to work out the timezone name.

The underlying timezone list is based on the IANA timezone database.

timezone list

Shows all the timezones the mud knows about.

timezone regions

Shows all of the timezone regions that the mud knows about.

timezone list <region>

Shows all of the timezones belonging to a given region.

To find your timezone, use "timezone regions" and pick a region that looks like it is where you live... for most of you, this will be "Europe" or "America". Now use "timezone list myregionname" to see all of the timezones in that region, and pick the right one. Most UK-based players will use Europe/London, for example.

The default timezone is Europe/London.
