which <thing>

Shows a list of objects matching 'thing' that you can pass to various commands.

Example:

>which weapon
1 - a long zanbatoh
2 - a truncheon (wielded)
3 - a stiletto (wielded by Chlo^#xeb;)

near.weapon - a long zanbatoh
my weapon - a truncheon (wielded)
that weapon - a long zanbatoh

This tells you that if you do something like examine weapon3, you will examine the weapon currently wielded by Chlo^#xeb;, but if you do examine my weapon you will examine the truncheon you are wielding.
