Screen Readers

Screen reader users may find the following commands useful: screenreader, brief and mono.

The screenreader command replaces all ASCII art and tables that we have identified with readable text. This includes all critical paths in the game but may not include some secondary parts.

The mono command disables all colour codes.

The brief command disables printing of full room descriptions when you move between rooms. You can still show full room description with "look".

Our official screenreader support is quite new and we welcome feedback on it. If there are specific things you want help with, please let the Senior Officers know, and please feel free to use the bug or wish command to report issues.
