New Lyon
New Lyon is a French agricultural colony. The planet it is on has roughly 1g gravity but a very hostile atmosphere. Plants have been specially genetically modified to grow in this, and have to be looked after entirely by machines.The city itself was largely state-subsidised and is now having difficulty making ends meet due to the minefield. Or at least that's what the governing authorities claim.
Note to British Citizens: British Passport holders are not allowed by the French authorities into New Lyon, as it is a special military restricted area.
